Description
All our grapples are available to suit all OEM Wheeled Loading Shovels & Telehandler Machinery. The Timber Handling Grapples can be produced to suit both fitting options including direct or quick coupler mounted and can be supplied with up to 5 years warranty.
Ulrich’s grapple range includes the following options, as listed below.
The sorting grapple
This style grapple has relatively long and straight tines that can slide along the ground so that the grapple can be well filled when loading from stacks and sorting bunkers.
The general purpose
This style grapple is an all-round grapple for handling and sorting entire trees or for gripping single stems. It has longer tines than the sorting grapple. Also available in a wide version specifically designed for handling treelength stems.
The tropical timber
This style grapple is very wide with two separate clamping arms to hold large, heavy stems securely. Principally intended for handling large diameter and high-density timber of the tropical type.
