Tree Shear
Ulrich’s strong, durable Tree Cutter Shear proves effective for whole tree felling, pruning, thinning and coppicing, making it the ideal attachment for most woodland and boundary applications. The cutter features hydraulically operated 45° on ‘either side’ swivel heads as standard, together with three finger positive clamping, and can be pin or quick hitch mounted to most makes and models of excavator.

The benefits of using a tree shear
Tree shears are often used to clear areas of trees that are too dangerous to fell with chainsaws. They can speed up the felling of a particular area and reduce the risk associated with using a chainsaw. In addition, if working in an area with homes nearby, tree shearing equipment can minimise the level of noise generated by felling and thereby reduce any noise disturbances for residents or businesses in the area.
